You can use some duct tape at the top of the gutter to hold upper edge of gutter against the feeder.  You can mount the feeder to a wall using a piece of 2x4 or any similar piece of lumber.  The metal bracket is designed to fit to a 2x4 or 4x4 and is 3 1/2" wide.  The metal bracket can also be mounted to a pipe.
